What can you do to help?

Let your voice be heard by contacting the politicians who represent you (list below) to express your opinions about stem cell research. Recent studies indicate that an overwhelming majority of Georgia citizens support stem cell research and it is important that our politician's votes reflect the views of the public. The state of Georgia currently lags behind other states who have been more pro-active in funding stem cell research. The United States as a whole has a tremendous opportunity to lead the the world in stem cell research, however significant funding is needed to compete globally. With the stagnant federal research budgets for funding agencies such as the National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation over the last few years (see representative data below), biomedical research laboratories are in need of additional public support now more than ever. You can make a difference. If you have any questions or want to learn more about how you can impact scientific and medical stem cell research, feel free to contact us.
