Education

Todd McDevitt and the members of his laboratory are active in a variety of educational and outreach programs to interact with the Georgia Tech and broader Atlanta community.  Dr. McDevitt is a strong proponent of undergraduate research and currently serves as the faculty advisor for the Petit Undergraduate Research Program.

Other activities that the McDevitt lab participate in include offering demonstrations and lab tours to K-12 students, teachers and parents, leading discussions with educational and social community groups, providing research experiences for undergraduate students and internship opportunities for high school students, and giving presentations on scientific ethics and communication skills.
